Dr. Jingchen Zhao is an Associate Professor in Law in the Leeds School of Law’s Centre for Business Law and Practice at the University of Leeds, England. He specialises in corporate law and corporate governance. His primary teaching duties are in the areas of corporate governance, corporate law, securities law and corporate finance law at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He is the Deputy Director of the Centre for Business Law and Practice. He has taught at several UK universities most recently at University of Sussex, where he taught corporate law and corporate governance.
Jingchen holds a Doctorate from the University of Manchester. He is a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy. He is the author of a monograph in the area of corporate social responsibility, entitled Corporate Social Responsibility in Contemporary China (Edward Elgar 2014). He published in highly ranked and quality academic journals, including Legal Studies, Journal of Corporate Law Studies, Journal of Business Law, Northwestern Journal of International Law and Business, Hong Kong Law Journal and Northern Ireland Legal Quarterly.
